For maintenance of anesthesia propofol used at a dose of 4-12 mg/kg.
In less severe surgical interventions, such as minimally invasive, may reduce maintenance dose to about 4 mg/kg/h.
In the elderly, patients with unstable General condition, patients with compromised cardiac function or hypovolemia, and patients with III–IV degree of severity according to the classification by ASA, the dose may be reduced to an even greater extent, given the severity of the condition and technique of anesthesia.
