Pharmacological action:
It has antibacterial activity against staphylococci, especially against Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis (including methicillin-resistant strains), Nocardia asteroides, Clostridium spp., meningococcus and gonococcus. Significantly less active against pneumococci and streptococci. Staphylococci resistant to penicillins, streptomycin, levomycetin, erythromycin and other antibiotics retain sensitivity to fusidin. Inactive against E. coli, Salmonella, Proteus and other gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi and protozoa.
Pharmacokinetics:

Indications:

Application for pregnancy and breastfeeding:

Method of application and doses:

Special instruction:
In severe disease and the need for long-term treatment, a combination with semi-synthetic penicillins or tetracyclines is recommended, which increases efficiency and prevents the emergence of resistant microorganisms.
To prevent and reduce side effects from the gastrointestinal tract, the drug is taken with liquid food or milk.
