The composition and form of issue: 

Capsules. 1 capsule contains:

Ginkgo biloba leaf extract dry standardised* 80 mg

* 100 mg of extract contains 19, 2 mg of the total flavone glycosides and 4, 8 mg of the total terpene lactones (ginkgolides and bilobalides) 

excipients: lactose monohydrate maize starch talc silica colloidal anhydrous magnesium stearate

the composition of the capsule shell: titanium dioxide (E171) and dye "sunset" yellow (E110) Ponceau dye ("Ponceau 4R") (E124), black diamond dye (E151) patented blue dye (E131) methyl parahydroxybenzoate parahydroxybenzoate gelatin 

in blister packs of 10 capsules. in the paper cartons 2 or 6 blisters.

Description pharmaceutical form:

Gelatin capsules No. 4, the body and lid capsules pink.

The contents of capsules — powder from light brown to dark brown with particles of a darker color.

Description pharmacological action:

Bilobil Forte capsules contain biologically active substances of Ginkgo biloba leaf extract (flavonoid glycosides, terpene lactones) which contribute to strengthening and improving the elasticity of the vascular wall, improve rheological properties of blood thus improving circulation and supplies the brain and peripheral tissues oxygen and glucose. Normalizes metabolism in cells, prevents the aggregation of red blood cells, inhibits platelet-activating factor. Has a dose-dependent regulating effect on the vascular system, expanding the small arteries, increases the tone of veins, regulates blood circulation in vessels.

Indications:

  • dyscirculatory encephalopathy of different etiology (developing due to stroke, head trauma, old age), accompanied by reduced attention, impaired memory, decrease in intellectual abilities, insomnia
  • violation of the peripheral circulation and microcirculation (including arteriopathy of lower limbs), Raynaud's syndrome
  • sensorineural disorders (dizziness, tinnitus, hypacusia)
  • senile macular degeneration
  • diabetic retinopathy.

Contraindications:

  • hypersensitivity to the drug
  • reduced blood clotting
  • erosive gastritis
  • ulcers disease stomach and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage
  • acute disorders of cerebral circulation
  • acute myocardial infarction
  • children's age (under 18).

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Bilobil Forte is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding in the absence of sufficient clinical data.

Side effects:

Possible: allergic skin reactions (redness, swelling, itching), disorders of gastrointestinal function (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), headache, hearing loss, insomnia, dizziness, reduced blood clotting.

In case of any adverse events taking the drug should stop and consult your doctor.

Drug interactions:

It should not be used patients systematically receiving aspirin, anticoagulants (including warfarin). Concomitant use with these drugs may increase the risk of bleeding due to the lengthening of coagulation time.

Method of application and dose:

Inside, and 1 caps. 2 times a day (morning and evening). Capsules should be swallowed whole, squeezed small amounts of water.

The course of treatment — not less than 3 months. The first signs of improvement usually appear after 1 month. A repeated course is possible after consultation with the doctor.

Overdose:

Currently, the cases of drug overdose Bilobil Forte was not reported.

Special instructions:

When frequently occurring feelings of dizziness and tinnitus should consult a doctor.

The sudden deterioration or loss of hearing should immediately consult a doctor.

Bilobil Forte capsules contain lactose, therefore it is not recommended to appoint patients with galactosemia, a syndrome of malabsorption of glucose/galactose, the Lapp lactase deficiency.

In very rare cases, the azo dyes (E110, E124 and E151) can trigger the development of bronchospasm.
