Structure and Composition: 

Tablets. One tablet contains Propranolol 0.01 or 0.04 g

in blisters of 10 pieces. 5 in carton packaging.

Pharmachologic effect:

Beta-adrenoceptor blocking.

Indications:

Arrhythmias, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, myocardial, cardiopsychoneurosis, hyperthyroidism, liver cirrhosis, withdrawal syndrome, migraine (prevention), uterine inertia.

Contraindications:

Uncompensated heart failure, asthma, bradycardia, hypotension, peripheral circulatory disorder, Raynaud's disease, insulin therapy, the treatment of MAO inhibitors.

Side effect:

Weakness, dizziness, dyspepsia, bronchospasm, bradycardia, AV block, heart failure, peripheral artery spasm, itchy skin.

Dosage and administration:

Inside, hypertension - 40 mg 2 times a day, gradually increasing the dose up to 160-480 mg in 2 hours in angina and migraine - 20 mg four times a day, then - 40 mg per reception arrhythmia, cardiomyopathy, thyrotoxicosis - by 10-40 mg 3-4 times a day.

Precautionary measures:

With caution is prescribed for acute myocardial infarction, abnormal liver and kidney function.
