• Dermazin (Sulfadiazine) 1% 50g cream

Composition and form of issue:

100 g of cream contain micronized silver sulfadiazine 1 g in 50 g tubes or 250 g jars.

Pharmacological action:

Blocks the synthesis of folate in the microbial cell (sulfadiazine) and the activity of enzymes — primarily SH-containing (Ag).

Indications:

Burns, bedsores, deep wounds.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, glucose deficiency?6-phosphate dehydrogenase, pregnancy.

Side effect:

Itching, burning sensation. With prolonged use on large surfaces, systemic effects characteristic of sulfonamides are possible.

Dosage and administration:

Locally. On the damaged surface, a layer of 2-4 mm 2 times a day with extensive lesions is covered with a sterile gauze bandage. With repeated applications, the old layer of cream is removed with water or antiseptic solution.

Precautionary measures:

Do not use in newborns.
