Composition and form of issue:

1 g of ointment contains benzyl benzoate 200 mg and water-emulsion base to 1 g in aluminum tubes of 30 g, in a cardboard pack of 1 tube.

Pharmacological action:

Cause the death of ticks.

Indications:

Scabies.

Contraindications:

Children under 3 years of age, pregnancy, breast-feeding.

Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Contraindicated. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Side effect:

Burning sensation on the site of application, allergic reactions.

Dosage and administration:

Outwardly. Course — 4 days. On the 1st day, the ointment is applied after thorough washing with soap (before going to bed) on the skin of the hands, then the torso and legs, including the soles and fingers. After skin treatment use only clean linen and clothes. On the 2nd and 3rd days — a break in treatment (the remains of the ointment do not wash off the skin). On the 4th day — in the evening, after washing with soap, RUB the remaining ointment and change all the linen. Hands after treatment do not wash for 3 hours, then the hands are treated with ointment after each wash. In the case of washing off the ointment from other skin areas, they are re-treated. On the 5th day, the ointment is completely washed off the skin.

Treatment of the complications of scabies (dermatitis, eczema, pyoderma, postcanine lymphopenia) is carried out simultaneously with the treatment of scabies and continue after its completion.

Adults appoint 20% ointment, children — 10%.

Special instruction:

All objects that come into contact with infected skin are subjected to careful processing. Bedding, towels, bed linen are boiled in a solution of washing powder for 5-10 minutes.

Outerwear iron on both sides with a hot iron. Things that are not subject to heat treatment are hung out in the open air for 3 days. Shoes, toys and others items excluded from use for 5 days and placed in a plastic bag. Mattresses, pillows, blankets are excluded from use for 5 days or subjected to chamber disinfection. Upholstered furniture treated with disinfectants.

The apartment will be cleaned and MOP the floors with detergents or by the addition of disinfectants.

Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth.
