Description pharmaceutical form:
Oblong, biconvex tablets, film-coated white or off-white color with a slight orange tinge.
On the front side of the tablet - engraved «BAYER», on the back - «LG». On both sides of the coated tablet divider 3 risks.

Pharmachologic effect:
It increases the permeability of cell membranes for calcium ions and causes a reduction in the parasite musculature, passing in spastic paralysis.
Testimony:
Trematodozy liver (opistorhoz, clonorchiasis), schistosomiasis, paragonimiasis, cestodosis (beef tapeworm infection, taeniasis, diphyllobothriasis, hymenolepiasis).
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity Eye cysticercosis.
Application of pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Contraindications I trimester of pregnancy. Nursing mothers should stop breast-feeding.
Side effect:
Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, headache, drowsiness, disorientation in time and space, hives, itching, fever.
Dosage and administration:
Inside, as a whole, without chewing, with a small amount of liquid, either before or during a meal. If the recommended single dose of the drug per day, the tablet should be taken in the evening. Repeated use of the drug during the day is recommended interval between doses of at least 4 and not more than 6 hours.
Adults and children over 4 years. Doses biltricid chosen strictly individual and depend on the type of pathogen.
Schistosoma haematobium - 40 mg / kg body weight once. Duration of treatment - 1 day.
Schistosoma mansoni and Schistosoma intercalatum - 40 mg / kg 1 time a day or 20 mg / kg two times a day. Duration of treatment - 1 day.
Schistosoma japonicum, Schistosoma mekongi - 60 mg / kg 1 time a day or 30 mg / kg two times a day. Duration of treatment - 1 day.
Clonorchis sinensis, Opisthorchis viverrini - 25 mg / kg, 3 times a day for 1-3 days.
Paragonimus westermani, and other types of - 25 mg / kg, 3 times a day for 2-3 days.
Children up to 4 years. Safety of the drug in children younger than 4 years have not been established.
