Pharmachologic effect:

Activates contacts interneuron in the spinal cord.

Testimony:

Spasm of blood vessels: the aggravation of hypertension, hypertensive crisis spasm of smooth muscles of internal organs: stomach ulcer, pilorospazm, intestinal colic nervous system diseases: residual effects of polio, flaccid paralysis of the facial nerve.

Dosage and administration:

Inside, in / m, / in. Inside for 2 hours before eating or 2 hours after eating a 20-50 mg 2-3 times a day for 3-4 weeks (or shorter courses). Higher dose inside: single - 50 mg daily - 150 mg.

In the treatment of diseases of the nervous system into the children under 1 year - 1 mg, 1 to 3 years - 2 mg, 4 to 8 years old - 3 mg, 9 to 12 years - 4 mg, over 12 years - 5 mg . If necessary, repeat the treatment after 3-4 weeks.

Precautionary measures:

The drug is not advisable to appoint long as a hypotensive agent in elderly patients in order to avoid a possible deterioration of ECG parameters.
