Structure and Composition:
Ointment for external application of 1% 100g contains: hydrocortisone acetate - 1g
Other ingredients: petrolatum - 45 g anhydrous lanolin - 10 g Pentol - 5 g of stearic acid - 3 g nipagine (methyl hydroxybenzoate) - 0.08 g nipazol (propyl) - 0.02 g of purified water - up to 100 g
in tubes of 10 g in paper cartons 1 tube.
Description pharmaceutical form:
Ointments white with a yellowish tinge or light yellow.
Dosage and administration:
Outwardly. Ointment applied thinly to the affected areas of skin 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the nature of the disease and the effectiveness of therapy, constituting usually 6-14 days with persistent disease within - can be extended to 20 days. On limited areas to enhance the effect can be used with occlusive dressings. In applying the ointment in children aged 2 years and older should be limited to the total duration of treatment and eliminating activities that lead to increased absorption of the steroid (warming, fixing and occlusive dressings).
