Composition and form of issue:
1 tablet contains paracetamol 500 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg, caffeine 25 mg, terpingydrate 20 mg, ascorbic acid 30 mg in a blister 12 PCs., in a cardboard box 1 blister.
Pharmacological action:
Combined preparation. Paracetamol blocks cyclooxygenase, reduces GHG levels, relieves pain and reduces elevated body temperature, ascorbic acid compensates the loss of vitamin C, accompanying the initial stage of SARS, fenilafrina hydrochloride narrows peripheral vessels and prevents the development of edema (sympathomimetic effect), terpin hydrate increases bronchial secretions, facilitating expectoration, caffeine enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol.
Indications:
Colds, flu.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity (including to individual components of the drug), severe liver or kidney function, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, heart disease.
Side effect:
Allergic reactions (skin rash, angioedema, urticaria) rarely (due to phenylephrine): hypertension (headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, insomnia, heartbeat).
Drug interaction:
Incompatible with tricyclic antidepressants and beta-blockers.
Dosage and administration:
Inside, drinking warm water adults - 2 table. (no more than 4 times a day), children 6-12 years-1 table. up to 4 times a day.
Precautionary measures:
It is not recommended to take children under 6 years without medical advice. Do not administer to patients taking or taking MAO inhibitors for the last 2 weeks. It can not be combined with tricyclic antidepressants, beta-blockers and other paracetamol-containing drugs.
