Composition and form of issue:
Oral solution. 100 g contains:
dry horse chestnut extract 1 g, respectively, of triterpenoid calculated as escin 5, 0-6, 25 g
thiamine chloride hydrochloride 0, 5 g
excipients: ethanol, purified water
in 20 ml dropper bottles, 1 bottle in a cardboard pack.
Pharmacological action:
Reduces the concentration of lysosomal enzymes and inhibits the degradation of mucopolysaccharides in the capillary wall. Reduces vascular permeability by preventing filtration of low molecular weight proteins, electrolytes and water into the intercellular space.
Description of pharmacological action:
Reduces transcapillary filtration and reduces peripheral edema, feeling of heaviness in the legs, fatigue, tension, itching, pain.
Indications:
Chronic venous insufficiency (varicose and post-thrombotic origin) and its complications, including functional disorders of blood circulation (edema, convulsions gastrocnemius muscles, pain and feeling of heaviness in the legs, varicose veins, hemorrhoids).
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity.
Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding:
With caution when breastfeeding (contains alcohol).
Side effect:
Rare — irritation of the mucous membrane of the digestive tract.
Drug interaction:
The effect of thiamine is weakened by sulfite-containing infusion solutions.
Dosage and administration:
Inside, before eating — 12-15 drops with a small amount of liquid 3 times a day, before taking shake.
Precautionary measures:
It should be noted that the drug contains 31% alcohol.
