Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, modified wheat starch, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, talc, magnesium stearate, gastric polyacrylate, macrogol 6000, orange dye K3020 (including yellow varnish S (E 110) titanium dioxide (E171)).

Pharmacological action:

A myotropic antispasmodic drug with a moderately pronounced m-holinoblocking effect. Reduces spasm of smooth muscles of internal organs, reduces the secretion of hydrochloric acid. Accelerates the evacuation function of the stomach, has no pronounced anticholinergic effect.

Indications:

  • spasms of the smooth muscles of the abdominal organs: dyskinesia of the colon, dyskinesia of the biliary tract
  • preparation for X-ray examination of the gastrointestinal tract with the use of barium.

Dosage regimen:

The drug is prescribed to adults.

Coated tablets (containing 50 mg of pinaverium bromide) are prescribed 3-4 tab. / day, if necessary (in exceptional cases) it is possible to increase the dose to 6 tab / day.

Coated tablets (containing 100 mg of pinaverium bromide) are prescribed 1 tab. 2 times / day (morning and evening). If necessary (in exceptional cases), the dose can be increased to 3 tab. / day.

In preparation for X-ray examination, 2 tablets / day (containing 100 mg of pinaverium bromide) or 4 tablets / day (containing 50 mg of pinaverium bromide) are prescribed for 3 days before the study.

Tablets should be taken with meals whole, without chewing or dissolving, washed down with a glass of water. The drug should not be taken before bedtime.

Side effects:

From the digestive system: rarely - dyspepsia, constipation, nausea.

Other: rarely - allergic reactions.

Contraindications:

  • hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

During pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding), the drug is prescribed only in cases where the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus or child.
