Pharmachologic effect :

Combined preparation for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the pharynx and oral cavity diseases. The product contains an antimicrobial agent gramicidin C and antiseptic - cetylpyridinium chloride.

The mechanism of action of gramicidin C is associated with increased permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of microbial cells that breaks its resistance and causes cell death.

Gramicidin C has a strong antimicrobial activity against pathogens of the mouth and throat infections.

It refers to cetylpyridinium chloride antiseptic agents. It inhibits the growth and multiplication of pathogens of infectious diseases of the oral cavity.

The drug reduces inflammation, has antimicrobial effect, softens the unpleasant sensation in the throat, swallowing easier, when resorption causes hypersalivation, which contributes to the mechanical purification of the oral cavity and pharynx by microorganisms.

Pharmacokinetics:

The drug has a local effect and is practically not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, which determines the almost complete absence of systemic effects.

Indications for use of the drug GRAMMIDIN® NEO:

Infectious-inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx:

• Stomatitis.
  

Dosage and administration:

Children up to 12 years - 1 tablet 4 times a day, over 12 years - 2 tablets 4 times a day
