Description: Ointment white or light yellow.
Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antimicrobial agent is a sulfonamide.
Pharmacological properties: the Drug has a bacteriostatic effect. The mechanism of action is due to competitive antagonism with paraaminobenzoic acid, inhibition of dihydroperoatsintetase, which leads to a violation of the synthesis of tetrahydrofolic acid, necessary for the synthesis of purines and pyrimidines.
