Iodine
the topical solution alcohol 5%:
1 ml of solution contains 50 mg iodine, the vials 10 and 25 ml.
Pharmacological action
Antimicrobial, antiseptic, distracting, hypolipidemic. Iodine coagulates proteins with the formation of Iodinol. Partially absorbed. Absorbed part penetrates into tissues and organs, is selectively absorbed by the thyroid gland. Excreted by the kidneys (mainly), intestine, sweat and mammary glands. Iodine has bactericidal activity, has tanning and cauterizing properties. Annoyed receptors skin and mucous membranes. Application
Inflammatory and other diseases of the skin and mucous membranes, abrasions, cuts, minor injuries, myositis, neuralgia, inflammatory infiltrates, atherosclerosis, syphilis (tertiary), chronic atrophic laryngitis, ozena, hyperthyroidism, endemic goiter, chronic poisoning by lead and mercury, disinfection of the skin of the surgical field, wound edges, the fingers of the surgeon.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, oral &, -, pulmonary tuberculosis, nephritis, abrasions, acne, chronic pyoderma, hemorrhagic diathesis, urticaria, pregnancy, child age (up to 5 years).

Method of application and doses
