Pharmacological action

Pharmaceutical group: Multivitamins in combination with other drugs.

Pharmacopoeia: The drug Kokarnit is a complex of metabolic substances and vitamins.

Nicotinamide is a form of vitamin PP, participates in redox processes in the cell, improves carbohydrate and nitrogen metabolism, normalizes lipid metabolism, and causes a decrease in the level of atherogenic lipoproteins in the blood.

Cocarboxylase is a coenzyme formed in the body from the external thiamine (vitamin B1). It plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism, is part of the enzyme carboxylase, which catalyzes the carboxylation and decarboxylation of a-keto acids. Indirectly promotes the synthesis of nucleic acids, proteins and lipids. Reduces the level of lactic and pyruvic acids in the body, promotes the absorption of glucose. Improves the trophism of the nervous tissue.

Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) in the body is converted into the active form of adenosylcobalamin or cobamide, which has a high biological activity. Increases protein synthesis in the body and promotes its accumulation. Activates the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids. Lowers the level of cholesterol in the blood, prevents fatty infiltration of the liver. It is necessary for the normal functioning of the hematopoietic organs, promotes the accumulation of compounds containing sulfhydryl groups in red blood cells, increasing their resistance to hemolysis. Increases the ability of tissues to regenerate. It has a beneficial effect on the function of the liver and nervous system

Disodium adenosine triphosphate trihydrate is a derivative of adenosine that stimulates metabolic processes. It has a hypotensive and antiarrhythmic effect. It has a vasodilating effect, including on the coronary arteries.

Pharmacokinetics: The therapeutic effect of the drug is the combined effect of its components. Therefore, it is not possible to conduct pharmacokinetic studies.

Indications

  • ischemic heart disease, myocarditis, myocardiopathy
  • neuritis, neuropathy (in diabetes mellitus, pernicious anemia, etc.)
  • neuralgia of various origins
  • myalgia, sciatica
  • lumbago, sciatica
  • bursitis, tendinitis.

Contraindications

  • hypersensitivity to any component of the drug Cocarnit
  • acute period of myocardial infarction
  • hypersensitivity, hypercoagulation (including acute thrombosis), erythremia, erythrocytosis, severe forms of arterial hypertension, arterial hypotension, acute myocardial infarction, inflammatory lung diseases.

Composition

1 amp.:

  • disodium adenosine triphosphate trihydrate 10 mg
  • cocarboxylase 50 mg
  • cyancobalamin 0.5 mg
  • nicotinamide 20 mg

excipients: glycine, methylparahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate up to 205 mg.

One ampoule of solvent contains: lidocaine hydrochloride 10 mg, water for injection up to 2 ml.

Description: lyophilized powder for injection, pink in a dark glass ampoule.

Side effects

  • nausea, increased diuresis
  • headache, dizziness, nervous excitement
  • tachycardia, pain in the heart area
  • allergic reactions (urticaria)
  • with intramuscular administration-hyperemia, itching, edema at the injection site.

With the development of severe side effects, the drug is canceled.

Drug interaction

Cocarboxylase enhances the cardiotonic effect of cardiac glycosides.

It is not recommended to administer vitamins B12, B1, and B6 together (in one syringe), since the cobalt ion contained in the cyanocobalamin molecule contributes to the destruction of other vitamins. It should also be taken into account that vitamin B12 can increase allergic reactions caused by vitamin B1.

Overdose

Symptoms: increased side effects of the drug.

Treatment: withdrawal of the drug, symptomatic treatment.
