Description of dosage form:
Hard gelatin capsules of red-brown color, size 1. The contents of the capsules-powder brown or brown with a reddish-purple hue, with a characteristic, slightly fragrant smell.
Description of pharmacological action:
Extract of red grape leaves contain pharmacologically active flavonoids, including quercetin-glucuronide and isoquercetin. The drug has a protective effect on the epithelium of blood vessels (stabilizes the membrane) and increases the elasticity of blood vessels (normalizes vascular permeability). Reduced permeability of the vascular wall to plasma, protein or water from the vessels into the surrounding tissue slows the formation of new edema and reduces existing ones.
Indications:
Prevention and symptomatic treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (in combination with varicose veins), including swelling of the lower extremities, feeling of heaviness and fatigue in the lower extremities, feeling of tension, paresthesia (sensitivity change) and pain.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of this drug.
Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding:
Antistax is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding (studies on the safety of the drug in pregnant and lactating women have not been conducted).

Dosage and administration:
Inside, swallowing whole, drinking water, before eating, in the morning. The recommended dose for adults-2 caps. per day. It is possible to increase the dose to 4 caps. per day.
Overdose:
No cases of overdose or intoxication were reported.
Special instruction:
In case of insufficient or unsatisfactory symptomatic effect within 6 weeks of treatment, the patient should be advised to consult a doctor about other possible causes of edema.
