Pharmacological action 

Means for rehydration and detoxification. Provides compensation for the loss of extracellular fluid and major electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium) and chlorides.

Side effects

With the introduction of a large volume of solution may develop chloride acidosis.

Indications for use of the drug

As a plasma-means with no need to recover the erythrocytes, including shock, collapse, burns, freezing, prolonged vomiting, diarrhea.

Contraindications to the use of the drug

Heart failure decompensation, pulmonary edema, oliguria, anuria.

The dosage regimen

Use/in as a slow infusion at a dose of 500-1000 ml.

Special instructions

With prolonged use requires monitoring of electrolytes in the plasma and daily urine output.
