Pharmacological action

The enzyme preparation obtained from the pancreas of cattle. Depolimerizuet RNA to acid - mono- and oligopeptides. Liquefies the pus, mucus, viscous and thick mucus, anti-inflammatory effect. Destroying the nucleic acid, retards the reproduction of some RNA-containing viruses.

The ribonuclease activity determine biological method for acid number of substances released by hydrolysis of RNA under certain conditions. One unit of activity (EA) with 1 mg of the drug.

Dosage

The local application sprinkled the wound or ulcer surface of the powder in the amount of 25-50 mg and put napkins or tampons, moistened with a solution of the drug in 0.9% solution of sodium chloride.

For inhalation use a fine aerosol - 25 mg per 1 procedure (for this the drug is dissolved in 3-4 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution or 0.5% solution of procaine).

Endobronchial inject the solution containing 25-50 mg, with laryngeal syringe or catheter.

Intrapleural 25-50 mg in 5-10 ml of 0.9% solution of sodium chloride or 0.2% solution of procaine.

When sinusitis is 5 to 10 mg in 3-5 ml of 0.9% solution of sodium chloride in the maxillary (maxillary) sinus after puncture and lavage of, in otitis - 0.1% solution (0.5-1 ml) into the ear canal.

In/m administered 5-10 mg in 1 ml 0.9% sodium chloride solution or 0.5% solution of procaine, treatment - 2-10 injections 1-2 injections per day.

The maximum single dose in the/m injection of 10 mg, at local and intracavitary injection - 50 mg.

For the treatment of tick - borne encephalitis/m, 6 times/day, dose - 25-30 mg, children 1-3 years 5 to 8 mg (depending on body weight), 4-6 years - 10 to 14 mg, from 7 to 11 years - 15 to 18 mg, 12-15 years - 20 mg.

The required amount of drug is dissolved before injection in 2 ml of 0.25-0.5% solution of procaine. Before the treatment of samples for sensitivity to the drug: on the flexor surface of the forearm is introduced in/to 0.1 ml, the therapy is carried out in the absence of local and General reaction.

Side effects

Irritation of the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, allergic reactions.

Testimony

• sinusitis (acute and exacerbation of chronic),
  
• otitis media (acute and worsening of chronic, including in the perforated stage)

• tick-borne encephalitis (severe disease, in combination with a specific gamma globulin),
  
• viral meningitis.
  

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity
  
• chronic heart failure II-III stage,
  
• respiratory insufficiency,
  
• liver failure,
  
• tuberculosis (open form),
  
• bleeding.
  

C caution: empyema (tuberculous etiology).

Special instructions

The absorption of exudate in pleural empyema of tuberculous etiology may contribute to the development of bronchopleural fistula.

Use in hepatic impairment

Contraindication — liver failure.
