Epagel gel for local and external use:
1 g of gel contains recombinant human interferon Alfa-2b 10 thousand IU, tubes of 2 g, 3 g, 5 g or 10 g.
Pharmacological action
Included in the gel composition of Interferon alpha-2 recombinant has a broad spectrum antiviral activity (influenza, herpes, etc.), bacteriostatic and anti-inflammatory, and antitumor and immunomodulatory activity.

Method of application and doses
In the treatment of herpetic lesions, the ointment is applied to affected areas of the skin and mucous membranes with a thin layer 2 times a day at intervals of 12 h and dried for 10-15 min to form a protective film. The duration of treatment is 3 to 5 days until complete disappearance of disturbances of the integrity of the skin and mucous membranes.

Contraindications
Severe cardiovascular disease, decompensated cirrhosis, severe depression, psychosis, alcohol or drug dependence, hypersensitivity to interferon Alfa-2b.
Application of pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of Inpages when pregnancy is possible only in the case when the expected benefit of therapy for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
Unknown, selects whether interferon Alfa-2b in breast milk. If necessary, use during lactation should decide the issue of termination of breastfeeding.
Women of childbearing age during treatment should use reliable contraception.
Special instructions
Be wary of Infiel in patients with impaired renal function, liver, bone marrow hematopoiesis and the propensity to suicidal attempts.
In patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system possible arrhythmias. If the arrhythmia does not decrease, or increases, the dose should be reduced in 2 times, or stop treatment.
