CINNARIZINE AVEXIMA affects the smooth muscles of blood vessels, reduces their reaction to nutrients (adrenaline, noradrenaline, dopamine, angiotensin, vasopressin). It has a vasodilating effect (especially in relation to the vessels of the brain), without having a significant effect on blood pressure.  

It shows moderate antihistamine activity, reduces the excitability of the vestibular apparatus, lowers the tone of the sympathetic nervous system. Increases the elasticity of the membranes of red blood cells, their ability to deformation, reduces blood viscosity. Increases muscle resistance to hypoxia.

Indications for use:

Stroke: 

• dizziness, tinnitus, headache, memory impairment, decreased concentration-symptoms of cerebrovascular insufficiency;
  
• vestibular disorders (including Meniere's disease: dizziness, tinnitus, nystagmus, nausea and vomiting of labyrinth origin);
  
• prevention of kinetosis ("road disease — - sea and air disease);
  
• migraine (prevention of attacks).
  

Disorders of peripheral blood circulation: 

• raynaud;
  
• «intermittent claudication;
  
• acrocyanosis;
  
• trophic disorders (including trophic and varicose ulcers).
  

Dosage and administration

Inside, after eating.

In case of cerebral circulation insufficiency:

 25 mg three times a day.

In case of violation of peripheral blood circulation:

 50-75 mg three times a day.

In vestibular disorders:

 25 mg three times a day.

The maximum recommended dose should not exceed 225 mg (9 tablets) per day.

The course of treatment from a few weeks to several months.

In kinetosis

 ("road" disease):

• adults-25 mg for half an hour before the trip (if necessary, re-admission 25 mg after 6 hours),
  
• children over 5 years
  
• ½ The dose recommended for adults.
  

With high sensitivity to the drug treatment begins with ½ dose, increasing it gradually.

Shelf life

2 years. Do not use after the expiration date.
