Composition per 1 ml (10 drops): liposomal iron (7 mg)

Pharmacological action

Sideral – biologically active food Supplement, developed on the basis Lepifera (Lipofer), which is an innovative highly digestible source of iron. Sideral contains the pyrophosphate of iron in liposomes, as well as vitamin C and vitamin B.

Liposomes – phospholipid microspheres that are essential for full assimilation of iron which is absorbed directly from the intestine without damaging the stomach and intestinal mucosa. New patented liposome technology allows to avoid side effects that are common when taking iron supplements: heartburn, irritation of the intestine, disorders of stool (constipation, diarrhea), staining of the mucosa of the oral cavity and tooth enamel.

Iron is a mineral necessary for the synthesis of the protein hemoglobin, contained within red blood cells (erythrocytes) and is the main Transporter of oxygen to all cells of the human body.

Iron is also present in myoglobin and respiratory enzymes.

Iron deficiency leads to the development of iron deficiency anemia, caused by lack of hemoglobin and decrease its content in erythrocytes.

Iron deficiency interferes with the normal oxygen saturation in the blood and contributes to the appearance of symptoms such as fatigue, apathy, dull hair, brittle nails, lethargy, shortness of breath and others.

In the chronic iron loss from the body the development of iron deficiency anemia occurs when iron stores are already depleted and disturbed erythropoiesis (formation of erythrocytes). It is usually preceded by a long latent period (asymptomatic) iron deficiency when the majority of laboratory parameters remain normal and iron stores are already depleted.

Vitamins provide an additional positive effect on the body.

Vitamin C has antioxidant properties, protects cells and tissues from the damaging effects of free radicals, prevents oxidation of fatty acids, increases the absorption of iron and plays an important role in the synthesis of collagen and strengthen the immune system, helps to activate folic acid.

Vitamin B12 participates in the synthesis of red blood cells and increases the ability of tissues to regenerate.

Testimony

Recommended in complex therapy in all cases of iron deficiency:

• in the case of latent iron deficiency, 
  
• chronic and prolonged blood loss in women during the menstrual cycle (hypermenstrual syndrome), 
  
• as an additional source of iron in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, accompanied by chronic blood loss (erosive gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcers, polyps, hemorrhoids, and others), 
  
• pregnancy and breast-feeding,
