Meloxicam tablets:

1 tablet contains meloxicam 7.5 and 15 mg,

pack of 10 and 20 pieces.

Pharmacological action

Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic effect.

Indications

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew's disease) and other inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the joints, accompanied by pain syndrome. Intended for symptomatic therapy, reducing pain and inflammation at the time of use, the progression of the disease has no effect. 

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity (W. to other NSAIDs), "aspirin" triad (combination of bronchial asthma, recurrent polyposis of the nose and paranasal sinuses and intolerance of acetylsalicylic acid and drugs pirazolonovogo series), ulcers disease stomach and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, gastrointestinal, cerebrovascular or other bleeding, severe heart failure, severe hepatic failure, severe renal failure (unless hemodialysis is performed), pregnancy, breast-feeding, age up to 15 years. 

Method of application and doses

Meloxicam is taken orally, during meals, without chewing, in a dose of 7, 5 to 15 mg of 1 times a day. The dose is adjusted individually, it is necessary to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest period of time.
