The composition and form of issue:

Gel for external use. 1 g contains active substance: 

heparin sodium 1000 IU

excipients: methyl parahydroxybenzoate (nipagin or methylparaben) ethanol (ethyl alcohol rectified) carbomer (carbopol) trolamine (triethanolamine), lavender essential oil, purified water — up to 30, 50 or 100 g 

the aluminum tubes of 30, 50 or 100 grams in a cardboard bundle 1 tuba.

Description pharmaceutical form:

The gel is colorless or yellowish shade with a specific smell.

Description pharmacological action:

It has a mild anti-inflammatory, anti-edema and antithrombotic effect.

Indications:

  • thrombophlebitis of superficial veins
  • localized infiltrates and edema of soft tissues
  • injuries of tendons and joints
  • injuries of soft tissues and joints.

Contraindications:

  • known hypersensitivity to the drug
  • ulcerative-necrotic changes of the skin in areas proposed applying the gel
  • traumatic violation of the integrity of the skin
  • increased blood clotting
  • thrombocytopenia.

Side effects:

Allergic skin reactions, redness of the skin.

Drug interactions:

Do not mix with other drugs for external use, not to be applied topically simultaneously with NSAIDs, tetracyclines, antihistamines.

Method of application and dose:

Externally.

The gel is applied thinly to the affected area 3-5 cm of the gel on the skin area with a diameter of 3-5 cm and rubbed gently into the skin.

Apply 1-3 times a day every day until the disappearance of inflammation, an average of 3 to 7 days. Treatment time be determined by your doctor.

Overdose:

Overdose is unlikely due to the low absorbability of the components of the gel.

Precautions:

Not recommended for bleeding, and open wounds, mucous membranes and the presence of local purulent processes.

Use with caution at high pronitsaemosti vessels.

The use of the gel is not recommended for deep venous thrombosis.
