Pharmacological action

A distinctive feature of COMPLIVIT® SELENIUM is the maintenance of a daily physiological dose of selenium.

COMPLIVIT ® SELENIUM contains a complex of essential vitamins and minerals.

Vitamin a (retinol acetate) - participates in forming of optic pigments, necessary for twilight and color vision necessary for bone growth, normal reproductive function, ensures the integrity of epithelial tissues.

Vitamin E (a-tocopherol acetate) has antioxidant properties, together with selenium inhibits the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids, maintains the stability of the red blood cells, prevents hemolysis, has a positive effect on gonadal function, nervous and muscular tissue.

Vitamin B1 (thiamine chloride) - plays an important role in carbohydrate, protein and fat exchanges, as well as in the processes of nervous excitation in the synapses. Protects cell membranes from toxic effects of the products of peroxidation.

Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) is an essential catalyst for cellular respiration, involved in carbohydrate, protein and fat exchanges in the maintenance of normal visual function of the eyes, the synthesis of hemoglobin.

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) is involved in the metabolism of substances necessary for normal functioning of the Central and peripheral nervous system.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is involved in the regulation of redox processes, carbohydrate metabolism, blood coagulation, tissue regeneration, increases the body's resistance to infections, reduces vascular permeability. Has antiplatelet and antioxidant properties.

Nicotinamide is involved in tissue respiration, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism.

Folic acid participates in the synthesis of amino acids, nucleotides, nucleic acids, necessary for normal erythropoiesis.

Calcium Pantothenate plays an important role in the acetylation and oxidation, promotes the construction, regeneration of epithelium and endothelium.
