Structure and Composition

Propazinum - coated tablets:

1 tab. promazine contains 50 mg, 50 pieces per pack.

pharmachologic effect

Antipsychotics (antipsychotic). Propazin having antipsychotic, sedative effect, reduces motor activity. In addition, it has antiemetic, hypothermic and antihistamine effect.

Mental illness, accompanied by psychomotor agitation (especially in cases of non-severe course), for maintenance therapy as well as in debilitated patients, elderly people and children.

Dosing and Administration

Propazinum taken orally 25-50 mg 2-4 times / day. The maximum single dose for adults - 250 mg daily - 2 years

Side effect

Perhaps: allergic reactions, dyspeptic symptoms, hypotension, extrapyramidal disorders, hepatitis.

Contraindications

Diseases of the liver and kidneys, gastritis, chronic heart failure decompensation, hypotension.
