The composition and form of issue: 

Ointment for topical application. 1 g contains:

nonivamid 4 mg

nicoboxil 25 mg

excipients: diisopropylamide silica colloidal anhydrous vaseline, sorbic acid citronella 

the aluminum tubes of 20 g or 50 g, complete with applicator in cardboard pack 1 set.

Description pharmaceutical form:

Almost colorless or slightly brownish, transparent or translucent homogeneous homogeneous ointment.

Description pharmacological action:

Nonivamid

It is a synthetic analogue of capsaicin and has analgesic properties that occur in the result of the gradual penetration of the substance in the peripheral nociceptive C-fibers and A-Delta nerve fibers when re-applying the product to the skin.

Nicoboxil

Has a direct vasodilator action.

The combined effect

Nonivamid and nicoboxil have complementary vasodilator properties, causing hyperemia (redness) of the skin, increase the speed of enzyme reactions, stimulates metabolism.

The appearance of redness and increased skin temperature within a few minutes after application indicate rapid penetration of the active ingredients of the drug into the skin. Action Finalgon manifested locally.

The effect of the ointment develops within a few minutes, the maximum effect occurs in 20-30 min.

Indications:

• arthritis, arthralgia, myalgia (including the associated overpotential)
  
• sports injuries, bruises, sprains
  
• neuritis
  
• lumbago, sciatica
  
• bursitis, tenosynovitis
  
• peripheral circulatory disorders.
  

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity to the drug
  
• dermatosis.
  

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Given the insufficient experience of the drug during pregnancy and lactation, do not use Finalgon during this period. No data on the penetration Finalgon in breast milk.

Side effects:

Local allergic reactions — rash, swelling of the face, slight transient skin irritation and burning sensation. These symptoms can be more pronounced when using an excess amount of the drug.

Drug interactions:

Interactions with other drugs, applied topically or systemically, have not been identified.

Method of application and dose:

Local. A small amount of ointment the size of not more than 0, 5 cm, with applicator is applied to the corresponding area of skin (about the size of your palm) with light rubbing motions and cover the affected skin with a woolen cloth.

For pre-warming the muscles before exercise, sports competition, it is recommended to RUB about 30 minutes before they start. The application of repeated reaction to the ointment may be reduced, which requires increasing the dose, which is chosen individually. The ointment is used 2-3 times a day.

Do not use the medicine more than 10 days without consulting a doctor.

After applying Finalgon on the skin should carefully wash their hands with soap and water.

Special instructions:

Care must be taken to avoid accidental contact with the drug on other areas of the skin and the eyes, nose or mouth because it may cause a harmless, but unpleasant burning sensation.

Patients with sensitive skin should not take a hot bath or shower before or after applying Finalgon.

When using an excessive number Finalgon effect can be reduced if you remove the ointment from the skin with vegetable oil or nourishing cream from the mucous membrane of the eye with petroleum jelly.
