Pharmacological action

The drug Rumalon® contains a glycosaminoglycan-peptide complex of cartilage and bone marrow of young calves. It affects the disturbed metabolism in hyaline cartilaginous tissue. The drug increases the biosynthesis of sulfated mucopolysaccharides. Stimulates the regeneration of articular cartilage and inhibits catabolic processes in cartilage.

Contraindications

Individual hypersensitivity, rheumatoid arthritis.

Composition

1 ml solution for injection contains:

Active ingredients: extract of cartilage and bone marrow of young animals 25 mg.

Method of application and doses

Rumalon the drug is administered by deep intramuscular injection: in the first day of 0.3 ml, the second day — 0.5 ml and then 3 times a week for 1 ml for 5-6 weeks. A second course of treatment after consulting a doctor according to the same scheme.
