Description pharmacological action:

Optimum action at pH 7-9. The local application has anti-inflammatory, regenerating and necrolytic effect. Indications:

Diseases of the respiratory tract, empyema, pleural effusion, thrombophlebitis, periodontal disease (inflammatory-dystrophic form), osteomyelitis, sinusitis, otitis, iritis, iridocyclitis, hemorrhage in the anterior chamber of the eye, swelling of the periorbital region after operations and injuries, burns, bedsores, sores (applied topically).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, decompensated CHF, pulmonary emphysema with respiratory failure, decompensated forms of pulmonary tuberculosis, liver degeneration, liver cirrhosis, pancreatitis, infectious hepatitis, hemorrhagic diathesis. Cannot be inserted into the bleeding cavity, I/, applied to the ulcerated surface of cancer.

Side effects:

Method of application and dose:

V/m: adults - 5-10 mg 1-2 times a day children - 2.5 mg 1 times a day. For injection immediately before use, diluted 5 mg of crystalline trypsin in 1-2 ml 0.9% NaCl solution or 0.5-2% solution of procaine. The course of treatment - 6-15 injections. Also used electrophoresis with trypsin: 1 the procedure 10 mg of trypsin (dissolved in 15-20 ml of distilled water) injected with the negative pole.
