The composition and form of issue:

100 ml nasal spray contain neomycin sulfate 1 g (650000 UNITS), polymyxin B sulfate 1000000 IU, dexamethasone sodium metasulphobenzoate 25 mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 250 mg vial spray 15 ml.

Pharmacological action:

Inhibits the release of mediators of inflammation stabilizes cell membranes (especially lysosomal) membranes and organelles, reduces the permeability of capillaries. Damages the cytoplasmic membrane of microbial cells, disrupt the flow of metabolites inside the cell with subsequent death.

Description pharmacological action:

Active against most gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Improves nasal breathing.

Indications:

Nasopharyngitis, sinusitis.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity (including to other aminoglycosides), diseases of viral etiology, diseases of the kidney associated with albuminuria, renal failure, angle-closure glaucoma, MAO inhibitors, children's age (up to 2.5 years).

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Contraindicated.

Side effects:

Rare — allergic skin reactions.

Drug interactions:

MAO inhibitors increase the risk of BP increase.

Method of application and dose:

Intranasal (keep the bottle in an upright position). Adults — 3-5 sprays in each nostril per day children (from 2,5 to 15 years old) — 3 injections in each nostril for 5-10 days (maximum).

Precautions:

Cannot be used for lavage of the paranasal sinuses. Be wary appoint patients with arterial hypertension, coronary insufficiency, hyperthyroidism.

Special instructions:

The product contains components that can give positive result at a doping control in athletes.
