Release form and composition:

Powder for suspension for oral administration (orange) from grayish white to grayish-yellow color, from weak to weak non-specific vanilla smell.

1 pack contains dioctahedral smectite 3 g

Excipients: Dextrose monohydrate, sodium saccharin, orange or vanilla flavor, vanilla flavor.

Pharmachologic effect:

Antidiarrheal drug of natural origin. It has an absorbent effect.

It stabilizes the mucosal barrier forms a connection with polyvalent glycoproteins of mucus, increases the amount of mucus and improves its gastroprotective properties (against the action of the negative hydrogen ions with hydrochloric acid, bile salts, microorganisms and their toxins).

Smecta® has selective sorption properties, which explains its discoid-crystal structure adsorbs located in the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract bacteria, viruses.

Smecta® at therapeutic doses has no effect on intestinal motility.

Dosage and administration:
