The composition and form of issue:

Lyophilisate for preparation of solution for intramuscular and parabulbarno introduction 1 FL.

Retinalamin (a complex of polypeptide fractions of the retina) 5 mg

glycine 17 mg

in vials of 5 mg in a cardboard bundle 10 vials.

Description pharmaceutical form:

Lyophilized powder or porous mass of white or white with a yellowish sheen color.

Pharmacological action:

Peptide bioregulator. Has a stimulating effect on the photoreceptors and cellular elements of the retina, improves the functional interaction of pigment epithelium and outer segments of the photoreceptor degenerative changes, accelerates recovery of light sensitivity of the retina. Normalizes vascular permeability, stimulates reparative processes in diseases and injuries of the retina.

Indications:

• compensated primary open-angle glaucoma
  
• diabetic retinopathy
  
• post-traumatic and post-inflammatory Central retinal dystrophy
  
• Central and peripheral tapetoretinal abiotrophy.
  

Contraindications:

• individual hypersensitivity to product components
  
• pregnancy.
  

Application of pregnancy and breastfeeding:

Contraindicated in pregnancy.

Side effect:

Allergic reactions are possible in case of individual intolerance of the drug components.

Method of application and doses:

Parabulbarno or/m once daily (the contents of the vial is dissolved in 1-2 ml of 0, 5% solution of procaine (novocaine) or water for injection, or 0 9% sodium chloride) 5-10 mg/day for 5-10 days (if necessary repeat the course in 3-6 months).
