The composition and form of issue:
Tablets, film-coated, soluble in the intestine table. 1 tablet contains:
Pancreatin 192 mg
(which corresponds to 6000 UNITS (FIP) lipase 4500 UNITS of amylase, 300 UNITS of protease)
hemicellulase 50 mg
extract of ox bile 25 mg
excipients: lactose magnesium stearate silica colloidal anhydrous cellulose acetate-phthalate diethyl sugar, calcium carbonate, talcum powder Arabian gum, gelatin, titanium dioxide, beeswax, Carnauba wax
blistere in 10 PCs. in cardboard pack 2 or 8 blisters.
Description pharmaceutical form:
White, round, biconvex tablets, covered with sugar shell.
Pharmacological action:
Normalizes digestion. Facilitates the digestion of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, contributes to a more complete absorption in the small intestine, and has choleretic activity, stimulates the emulsification of fats and the breakdown of plant tissue, increases lipase activity, improves the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K).
Description pharmacological action:
Improves the functional state of gastrointestinal tract and normalizes digestion, helps to cleanse the intestinal contents and gases.
Indications:
Insufficiency of exocrine pancreatic function in cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis after pancreatectomy with compression of the pancreatic duct by the tumor steatorrhea with malabsorption syndrome status after gastroektomii, indigestion in case of errors in the diet in chronic diseases of the digestive system (especially in the elderly) and in patients undergoing long-term bed rest, preparation for radiological and ultrasonic research of abdominal organs.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, obstruction of the biliary tract, jaundice.
Side effects:
Nausea, crampy abdominal pain, diarrhea, soreness in the mouth and the anus (in children), increasing the concentration of uric acid in the blood and urine, allergic reactions (sneezing, watery eyes, hives, bronchospasm).
Drug interactions:
Cimetidine, antacids enhance the effect. Reduces the bioavailability of iron preparations.
Method of application and dose:
Inside, not liquid, during or immediately after a meal, squeezed small amount of liquid.
Adults — 1-2 table. 3 times a day. A higher dose prescribed by the doctor. Children older than 6 years (on prescription) — 1 table. 2-3 times a day.
The duration of treatment may vary from several days (in violation of the digestive process due to errors in the diet) to several months or years (if required constant replacement therapy).
Before on chest x-ray or ultrasound — 2 table. 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days before the test.
Precautions:
The appointment of patients with suspected appendicitis should be particularly careful.
