Structure and Composition:

1 g of cream contains 10 mg terbinafine hydrochloride and benzyl alcohol, sodium hydroxide, sorbitan monostearate, cetyl palmitate, cetyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, isopropyl myristate and demineralized water in the tubes of 15 and 30 g per box 1 tube.

1 ml of spray - 10 mg terbinafine hydrochloride, as well as water, ethanol (23.5 wt.%), Propylene glycol and cetomacrogol 1000 in vials of 15 ml, and 30 to the spray head, in the box 1 vial.

Pharmachologic effect:

It inhibits squalene epoxidase in the fungal cell membrane and inhibits the early stage of the biosynthesis of sterols in its stroma, creating ergosterol deficiency and contributes to intracellular accumulation of squalene, which causes death of fungal cells. Active (fungicidal effect) against dermatophytes, molds and certain dimorphic fungi, and yeasts (fungicidal or fungistatic effect depending on the species).

Pharmacokinetics:

When applied topically, systemic absorption is subjected to less than 5% of the dose.

Description of the pharmacological actions:

It is effective for fungal infections caused by T.rubrum, T.mentagrophytes, T.verrucosum, T.violaceum, Microsporum canis, Epidermophyton floccosum, Candida, Pityrosporum orbiculare (Malassezia furfur).

Indications:

Infections of the skin caused by dermatophytes and yeast fungi, multicolored shingles.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity.

Application of pregnancy and breastfeeding:

During pregnancy with caution and only if strict indications (clinical application experience is limited). At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Side effect:

Flushing, itching or a burning sensation at the site of allergic reaction (requires discontinuation of the drug).

Dosage and administration:

Locally, on a previously cleaned and dried skin of affected areas and surrounding areas. The cream is applied 1 or 2 times a day for 1 week (with multi-colored lichen 2 weeks) lesions accompanied by diaper rash can cover the gauze (especially at night). Spray spray 1 time per day (with multi-colored lichen, 2 times a day) for 1 week.

Overdose:

It is possible only in case of accidental ingestion.

Symptoms: headache, dizziness, nausea, epigastric pain.

Treatment: symptomatic therapy.

Precautionary measures:

Lack of effect after 1 week of treatment requires further diagnosis.

In case of contact with running water should be washed immediately in the eye. The alcohol contained in a spray can irritate damaged skin.

It should refrain from the use in pediatric practice (application experience in children is limited).
