Structure and Composition: 

Solution for infusion. 1 ml contains Fluconazole 2 mg

Excipients: sodium chloride - 9.00 mg water for injection - up to 1.0 ml

in bottles of 100 ml in the paper cartons 1 bottle.

Dosage and administration:

Speed ??/ v administration should not exceed 200 mg / hour (20 mg / min). Once this is possible, it is necessary to move the patient receiving oral formulations of the drug. The daily dose should not be altered.

Adults

Systemic candidiasis: in patients without neutropenia and stable neutropenic patients - 400 mg / day on the first day, then - 200-400 mg / day.

The duration of therapy depends on clinical response. Treatment should continue for at least 2 weeks after receiving a negative blood culture or disappearance of symptoms of the disease.

In extremely severe infections can assign up to 800 mg / day.

Candidiasis of the mucous membranes, including HIV-infected patients and immunocompromised patients: the recommended dose - 50-100 mg / day orally.

The first episode of the disease treatment continues 7-14 days in immunocompromised patients - 3 weeks. In extreme cases, a 30-day therapy in doses of 100 to 200 mg / day.

Cryptococcal meningitis in patients with AIDS - 400 mg / day on the first day, then - 200-400 mg / day 6-8 weeks.

Maintenance therapy in patients with AIDS and cryptococcal meningitis - 200 mg / day orally.

For the prevention of candidiasis before mielotransplantatsiey and / or prior to treatment with cytostatics or radiation therapy in patients with malignant tumors, appointed by 50-400 mg / day with subsequent dose adjustments depending on the severity of neutropenia and the perceived risk of fungal infection. Fluconazole is necessary to appoint a few days before the development of neutropenia and continue treatment for at least another 7 days after the neutrophil count exceeds 1000 / mm3.

Children

In normal renal function in life-threatening candida infection is prescribed 6-12 mg / kg / day. To prevent fungal infections and for treating superficial mycosis applied dose of 3-6 mg / kg / day. Depending on the response to therapy, the daily dose may be increased to 12 mg / kg / day.

For children from 5 to 13 years the maximum daily dose is 400 mg of fluconazole.

Children with renal insufficiency the dose is adjusted in accordance with the recommendations for adults.

After each dialysis session, an additional 50 mg once to enter (some authors recommend 100-200 mg). In patients on peritoneal dialysis (continuous ambulatory dialysis), it is recommended to appoint 150 mg fluconazole 2 l dialysate at intervals of 2 days.
