Composition

Pharmacological action

An antimicrobial agent of broad-spectrum derived hinolona. Bactericidal effect on gram-negative microorganisms in the dormant period and dividing, gram-positive microorganisms – only during division.

Indications for use

Treatment of infectious-inflammatory diseases caused by sensitive to the preparation microorganisms.

Diseases of the lower respiratory tract (acute and chronic bronchitis), pneumonia, multiple bronchiectasis, infectious complications of mucoviscidosis). Infections of ENT organs (acute sinusitis). Infections of skin and soft tissues. Kidney infection, urinary tract. Chronic bacterial prostatitis. Uncomplicated gonorrhea. Typhoid fever. Infectious diarrhea. Infections of bones and joints. Complicated intra-abdominal infection. Infection on the background of immunodeficiency. Prevention and treatment of pneumonic form of anthrax.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Simultaneous administration with tizanidine (risk of decrease in blood pressure, drowsiness),

Pregnancy. Lactation. Children up to age 18 years.

Method of application and doses

Inside.

When lower respiratory tract infections of mild to moderate severity – 0.5 g 2 times a day, severe – 0.75 g 2 times. The course of treatment 7-14 days.

Acute sinusitis – 0.5 g 2 times a day. The course of treatment 10 days.

When infections of skin and soft tissues of mild and moderate 0.5 g 2 times a day, in severe 0.75 g 2 times. The course of treatment 7-14 days.

In infections of bones and joints (mild and moderate) 0.5 g 2 times a day, severe 0.75 g 2 times. The course of treatment to 4-6 weeks.

When urinary tract infections 0.25-0.5 g 2 times a day, the course of treatment 7-14 days.

In chronic bacterial prostatitis 0.5 g 2 times a course of treatment is 28 days.

In uncomplicated gonorrhea of 0.25-0.5 g once.

Infectious diarrhea 0.5 g 2 times a day, treatment course of 10 days.

In complicated intra-abdominal infections 0.5 g every 12 hours for 7-14 days.

For the prevention and treatment of pneumonic form of anthrax to 0.5 g 2 times a day for 60 days.
